This month, we’re sharing fresh insights into Pakistan’s auto industry performance, focusing especially on last month’s sales numbers. Our report gives you a clear picture of the top-selling cars, which manufacturers led the market, and the main points based on the newest Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) data.

Big Jump in Monthly Car Sales

Cars sales in Pakistan took a major leap forward in June! According to the latest PAMA figures, local carmakers sold 21,773 units. That’s a huge 47% jump compared to May’s sales of just 14,786 vehicles. Looking back a full year, the news is even better: sales grew by an impressive 64% compared to June last year. Adding up all the sales for the first eleven months of the financial year (FY2025), the total number of vehicles sold reaches 148,023 units.

Motorcycle & Three-Wheeler Sales Dip

Sales of locally assembled motorcycles and three-wheelers including passenger and loader rickshaws fell by 9% last month. A total of 138,509 vehicles were sold, down from 152,254in May. However, compared to June last year, sales look much stronger, jumping 32% from 89,895 units.

Looking at major brands:

  • Atlas Honda: Sales dropped 11%, selling 115,286 units compared to May’s 130,240.

Car Sales in Pakistan: Who’s Up, Who’s Down?

Last month brought big changes for Pakistan’s car market. Toyota Pakistan saw its sales drop significantly, selling 24% fewer cars. They sold 3,687 vehicles, down from 4,829 vehicles in May 2025. Meanwhile, Pak Suzuki Motors (PSMC) had a massive win. Their sales skyrocketed by a huge number of 139%, jumping to 13,217 units sold last month compared to just 5,519 in May 2025.

However, the Honda Atlas wasn’t so lucky. Their sales fell by 10%, with only 1,808 units sold versus 2,005 the previous month. In contrast, Hyundai Nishat experienced an 11% increase. They sold 1,457 cars last month, up from 1,307 in May. Sazgar Engineering (SAZEW) also had a strong month, with sales surging a considerable 47% to 1,349 vehicles compared to 919 in May 2025.

Important Note: This report is limited to companies that belong to PAMA (Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers’ Association). The sales figures for other big players such as Kia Lucky Motors, Master Changan Motors, Regal Motors, MG Motors, and Al-Haj Proton are missing because they aren’t PAMA members.
