Mark Your Calendars: BYD Shark 6 PHEV Set Launch on July 25, 2025

Back in April, we told you BYD Pakistan planned to bring the Shark 6 plug-in hybrid (PHEV) pickup truck to Pakistan around June or July 2025. We also mentioned bookings might start by late April or early May. Good news! Our trusted sources confirm the BYD Shark 6 Pakistan launch is officially set for July 25, 2025.

In our earlier updates, we shared the expected BYD Shark 6 Pakistan price would likely be between PKR 19 million and PKR 20 million. The first trucks arriving will be fully imported (CBU models). However, BYD aims to start assembling the BYD Shark 6 locally in Pakistan sometime during 2026. This local production should help Pakistan’s own manufacturing grow and create new jobs.

We got an exclusive first look and even test-drove the BYD Shark 6 Pakistan model. We were impressed! It has a bold, modern look outside. Inside, the cabin feels luxurious and is packed with the latest tech gadgets. Its hybrid engine system delivers strong power and performance, combining a gasoline engine with an electric motor for better fuel efficiency.
