Govt Announces New Petrol & Diesel Prices | Effective for Next 15 Days

ISLAMABAD, The federal government has set new petrol prices for the next 15 days as part of its biweekly review of prices. This news makes me feel good and bad at the same time.

The notice from the Ministry of Finance says that the price of petrol will stay at Rs. 264.61 per liter. This is good news for drivers who are sick of driving on busy roads.

High-speed diesel, which is very important for farming and transportation, has gone up a little bit to Rs. 272.77 per liter with an increase of Rs. 2.78 per litre.

People in charge said that these changes were carefully thought out to take into account how the currency value and the international market change.

The new prices started at midnight. This began a two-week period during which changes and thoughts could be made before the next evaluation.
