Big news for Pakistan’s electric vehicle market! The partnership between Nishat and Chery is gaining serious traction. Their latest move? Officially launching the brand-new, all-electric Jaecco J6 SUV across the country.

As you might recall, this powerful team-up started with a surprising move back in February 2025. Chery, previously partnered with Ghandhara Automotive, ended that long-running deal. Instead, Chery joined forces with NextGen Auto – a company owned by Hyundai Nishat Motors.

This fresh Nishat-Chery venture immediately promised exciting things: bringing Chery’s Omoda and Jaecco sub-brands to Pakistan. Both Omoda and Jaecco, part of Chery International, specialize in New Energy Vehicles (NEVs). Simply put, NEVs are eco-friendly vehicles like pure electric vehicles (BEVs), plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), and hydrogen fuel cell cars (FCEVs).
