Our team spotted the upcoming Peugeot 2008 facelift testing right here in Karachi before its official launch! Clear photos reveal exciting exterior changes compared to the current model. Let’s break down the key differences we observed on this refreshed SUV.

Starting at the front, the headlights sport a fresh look. The old Peugeot 2008 facelift used one main LED light with three signature ‘claw’ daytime running lights (DRLs) built in. The updated version, however, features three distinct LED modules inside each headlight. We expect this new design will spread the headlight beam wider and boost overall brightness (measured in lumens, meaning light power) for much better night vision.

Adding to the new style, the DRL strips have moved! Previously part of the headlight unit, they’re now positioned lower down on the front bumper’s outer edges. Even better, there are now three separate light bars on each side, making the Peugeot 2008 facelift instantly recognizable. Completing the front makeover, the grille shifts from shiny chrome to a sleek black finish, and the Peugeot badge on the grille itself has been updated to a newer design.

Peugeot’s Redesigned Rear

Out back, the updated Peugeot shows several key differences. The famous Peugeot lion emblem, once shiny silver (chrome), is now finished in black or dark grey. You’ll also notice the separate Peugeot badge is gone entirely from the tailgate. Don’t be fooled by the photo, though! The word “PEUGEOT” is still there – it’s actually placed between the tail lights. The camera angle and shadows in this picture just hide it from view.

The biggest rear transformation comes from the tail lights themselves. They’ve switched from standing upright (vertical) to lying flat (horizontal). This fresh layout gives the car’s back end a completely new and modern look compared to the older model.

Peugeot’s Subtle Facelift Tweaks

We’ve spotted a few subtle but neat changes on the upcoming Peugeot based on pictures floating around online. One smaller update catches the eye: the alloy wheels. The outgoing model used pretty common rims you see on many cars. The Peugeot facelift, however, seems to get fresh alloy wheels with a cool H-shaped design (we’re not sure what Peugeot officially calls it yet). This new style definitely looks sharper and more distinctive.

Look even closer, and you’ll notice other tiny tweaks. The shape of the exhaust tips has changed too. Before, the car had round dual exhausts. Now, pictures suggest they’ve switched to a square shape. Even the rear reflectors seem to have a slightly different form compared to the previous version.

Important Note: Right now, all these potential changes we’re talking about are unofficial. They’re just our observations from social media images. We don’t have the full details straight from Peugeot. Once the company officially reveals the updated Peugeot facelift, including any interior upgrades, we’ll share the confirmed list of everything that’s new. What do you think about these possible updates based on the pics?
