Kia Pakistan has some important news for anyone who is keeping an eye on Kia Sportage L HEV as their next vehicle. Due to a surge in global demand for this popular hybrid vehicle, they have temporarily halted new bookings in Pakistan.

The company, Kia Pakistan – Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC), made this decision while reviewing their shipment schedule for CKD (Completely Knocked Down) kits, which are essential for assembling the cars locally. The high demand has affected the availability of these kits, leading to stop new bookings for a short time. Stay tuned for latest updates if you’re interested to get hands on the Kia Sportage L HEV!

What Does This Imply for Buyers?

If you are planning to buy the Kia Sportage L HEV in the near future, you will have to hang tight for some time and for further news. Kia has announced that they will resume the bookings in Pakistan again once they get to know the arrival of essential CKD kits. For those who have already placed their orders with Kia Pakistan, there is good news: deliveries will happen as planned, based on the date on your Provisional Booking Order (PBO).

In the meantime, you can still place orders for the Sportage 2.0L Alpha and 2.0L FWD models. Kia is committed to processing these orders and making deliveries as promised.

Stay tuned for updates on when bookings for the Sportage L HEV will reopen!

Kia Sportage L – Engine & Power

The Kia Sportage L comes with two exciting engine choices:

  1. The Smart Stream 2.0L MPI Engine, which delivers 154 horsepower and 192 Nm of torque.
  2. The Smart Stream 1.6T-GDI HEV (Hybrid) engine, offering a powerful combination of 226 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.

Additionally, the Drive Mode Select (DMS) system allows drivers to switch between Normal, Eco, Smart, and Sport modes for a tailored driving experience. Plus, the Shift by Wire (SBW) system enhances the feel of gear changes, making them smooth and enjoyable.
